Coach Erik here:
One thing you can always count on staying the same is change. The seasons change. Our bodies change. The circumstances of our life change. I offer the challenge is not the change itself but the fear of what the change means. Often we set our lives up to resist change. We fight it tooth and nail. We create (what we believe) is a safe, secure and predictable life. However, no matter what we do change comes calling.
I invite you to rethink change today.
Alan Watts once said, “The only way to make sense of change is to jump into it. Move with it and join the dance.” I invite you to join the dance today. Do something out of the ordinary. Do something that scares you. Do something that makes you come alive.
Take away: Behind the inconvenience of change often lies a remarkable opportunity. Embrace it. Turn yourself over to its power and dwell in its unlimited possibility.
